I had another nightmare about the Void. I got woken up by my wife shaking me because I was moving and talking in my sleep, telling her she'd be all right because I had her. Sleep is so far off right now, I don't even. I hate those nightmares. But I guess it gives me an opportunity to sit and update until I feel a little more human again.

I have just realized I am in a state of brutal busyness. Tonight, I have to finish writing a posting for history class, and also read at least one more chapter of the horrible textbook and revise at least two more. I didn't expect to be saying this so fast but life is truly good. I'm in college, in my first quarter of an AA degree. I'm taking Intro to Jazz Dance, Oil Painting and 20th Century American History. Yesterday was almost entirely overwhelmed by dealing with the dickbutts at NSCC, who couldn't decide whether to accept my bank statement or not. The latest is that my application is being processed and I will not be deferred to summer quarter. Which is lovely, but it took five hours and four phone operators to tell me that.

Stuff's actually been looking up for a change; I got my college application off yesterday, and apparently they'll send the I-20 out in a couple of days. The American Embassy says it has a three-day wait time on interviews. So the Time of Making Phonecalls is finally over, and luckily, everything got resolved without a problem. My computer is in production, my bank card is unfrozen, and a second set of college books is being mailed to my dad at no extra cost to me.
